Solutions
Moving-survey applications
Structure property, room and inventory information so the next stage of a move starts with a clearer picture.
The problem
A moving survey combines observations about rooms, inventory and layout. When notes and lists sit in different places, preparing the quotation or office handover takes interpretation. A useful capture tool needs to suit the surveyor's task and the information the office actually requires.
Possible implementation
We review a representative survey from the visit to the office handover. We define the property/room structure, required item details, editing behaviour and output before choosing an existing tool or a focused application. Device use, access, connectivity and any photo or office synchronisation requirements are assessed explicitly; they are not assumed to work simply because a demonstration exists.
Example deliverables
- A defined survey structure and agreed capture/output requirements
- A focused interface or configuration for room-by-room information
- Where appropriate, editable room layouts and inventory views
- Representative tests and a documented handover for the intended users
What needs to be in place
We need the survey owner, a sanitised example, the intended devices, the office's required output and any connectivity constraints. Rules for photos, storage, permissions and customer information must be agreed. Integrations and deployment are evaluated separately from the interface demonstration.
Relevant evidence
MoveSurvey is a development example with property/room surveys, inventory and editable room layouts. It does not establish verified live office synchronisation, photo delivery or commercial deployment. The illustration on Our Work explains the structure with sample data; it is not an application screenshot.

Start with one survey type and an agreed output. Test the capture and office handover before expanding to other survey types, photo handling or integrations. Other structured site-survey tasks can be considered where the requirements fit our capabilities.
